my opinions on the most recent "mando"

(please keep in mind that I am 100% speaking my mind in this post)
as someone so far who has completely enjoyed the server so far the recent mando was horrible, it was a shame of the server and a complete disappointment, at the end of the day we are all here to have fun and RP not one more than the other if you are minging or breaking rules granted you should be punished by a warn or a bit of time in brig by shock. A small mistake or a mistaken rule break should not be so harsh, we are people who have taken time out of our busy days to have fun on this server, instead of doing IRL stuff that as we all know isn't fun to escape. some of the tasks were way too hard and completely pointless, forcing 20+ players to all form a single column with each trooper having to move back and make room for the others, coordinating so many players to form a single column in 15 seconds is completely insane so many troopers will have to move back and forward to make room and picking out any small imperfections is just not fair.
Also Binary, in my opinion, was completely unfair with everyone forcing players in front of the others and shaming them is Blasphemous especially when he refuses to stand in the firing line himself and do the stupidest faces like L L L L L L L L L L L R R R A L L and expecting it to be done 100% perfect without human error is not okay, let me just repeat... there is not one person here to be complained at and picked apart for the little human mistakes they made being threatened with "one or two demotions" everyone is here to have some fun and RP. I do not mind RP I love RP but when Binary's RP is punishing players for making mistakes on insane faces without testing himself on such insane things was just him abusing his rank and putting down players who are here to have fun who spend their time here to be threatened with demotions when they have worked so hard for their rank and spent so much time just because he has been on a bit longer and is a higher rank does not and/or should not put him on a pedestal to do such things to the average player.
I will continue to play on this server but training like that should not be on this server its just abuse of rank and just not fun.

+1 that does sound very harsh but we could maybe get the reason you were doing a mando if there was a reason, if there wasent a reason you should say that

ARC was excluded but we wanted to attend anyway for sake of comradery, "punishment" or not people shouldn't be forced to sit through that IMO

[b]RP is not being told to do a left face repeatedly until you slip up and then being put back 2-3 days work, it takes forever to be promoted (sometimes weeks of constant activity and performance) and being demoted for not being perfect in a training is like having ago at a learner driver while they're practicing. SW-RP is not spinning on the spot until you fail, Nor is it having some guy have a go at you because he's a "higher rank". If you mess up then fine, disciplinary, arrest, warning THEN demotion, not jumping to kicking someone down a few weeks of work because you're in a bad mood. People who do this aren't here to RP, they're here to feel in charge and it makes them feel better about themselves. Also, any training (Mando or not) does not consist of stupidly hard faces or trying to organise a huge formation through the lag and other stuff. If you're going to do a training session, then make sure you put in the effort to make sure it's a proper training session, not some half arsed excuse of a waste of time. Proper training is things like bounding/leap frogging, breaching, search and retrieve, hostage control, prisoner control, Battlestation formups and god knows how much more.
Adding to this. The entire point of SWRP is to rank up, experience the different regiments and have fun making friends. if you're currently sat in some MJR+ role and cba to be a good commander, if you're too lazy to hold full, benefitial training sessions that helps more than just your ego, if you're not dedicated to putting in the time and energy needed for the regiment and the players (note I said players, not toys/soldiers/bots) that make the server great, if the only thing that benefits from you being MJR+ is your ego or If you "don't want to be commander" then reset to CT or a lower rank like NCO and give your spot to someone who has the time and energy to do the job properly and let them progress in the game. Bad commanders kill regiments. The amount of times I've seen LT- do better than their higher ranks is stupid.[/b]

I agree partly on this, I personally don't have a problem with the mando itself, just the rules Azrael made. The fact that he said we couldn't leave or we get demoted is ridiculous. i can't go and eat because I have to do a mando in a game? I don't think so, Azrael is ruling our lives. He did say we could go and eat if it was a prepared meal but apparently if it wasnt a prepared meal and we wanted to go eat a microwave meal because we were hungry it's LTAP , I didn't have a prepared meal but I was hungry. You have to rememeber this is just a game and I'm not having it take over my life because of some randomer on possibly the other side of the country. This just supports that Azrael is a power hungry asshole. This is getting ridiculous now so personally I feel this should be taken higher so please Hasan, Xemio, Head of staff, Assistant Head of staff, if you're reading this please contact me via discord.
